I Love the stock, as usual it has the awesome Hogue grip in the correct spots and is lighter than the original synthetic. easy to install. i used it on my Pardner Protector and wouldnt change it from here. HIGHLY reccomended from my opinion! oh and shipping was really fast as well! Thanks!

I had the Pachmayr pistol grip on my 870 for the longest time. I mainly had it for home defense and thought I would like the pistol grip originally. Well, I hated shooting it. Decided to go with the Houge stock for comfort, I had one on my Ruger 10/22. Well, I took my shotgun out last weekend and shot the hell out of it. I absolutely loved the stock. I probably shot 200 or so shells out of it and it felt great. Obviously still felt like a shotgun but it was very comfortable to hold and fire.

Love the feel. Had to do a little removal of the inside rails on the forend, but the best things sometimes don't come easy! Get the wrench-12 ga forend wrench, makes it easier.

Purchased these for a used 870 I purchased for my youngest son as a Turkey Gun, they fit very well and have a great grip.
They are very light compared to a direct Remington synthetic, camo version I had purchased for my other son's 870 two years ago.

It was very difficult to install. It was not like I thought it would be. The instructions were minimal and not very helpful. I will be honest andsay that I am not a gunsmith but I thought it would be easier to install. It is sitting in my closet and will go unused.

I purchased my 870 with a pistol grip, but it just didn't seem practical. So, I purchased this kit and although I chose not to put on the forend part, just the stock, I really like it. It feels pretty solid and is lightweight.
