ISSC M22

ISSC, located in Reid, Austria, is an arms manufacturer that currently specializes in the production of two very versatile firearms – the ISSC M22 rimfire pistol and the ISSC MK22 rimfire rifle. Production of these exceptional firearms is made possible by the design and engineering work carried out by ISSC's subsidiary, ESC, which is located in Ulm, Germany and is known for its world-class weapons design team.

The ISSC M22 rimfire pistol is, as noted, an ideal range pistol suitable for a number of applications. This is due in part to its outstanding versatility, a quality obtained by its wealth of features. Many of those features lend to the overall stellar performance of the pistol, including its match-grade barrel, which when combined with a reliable straight blowback operation, provides for extreme accuracy. Additionally, the inclusion of a system of five independently operating safeties makes the M22 one of the most secure pistols on the market. Throw in a MIL-STD 1913 rail, and you have everything characteristic of a modern defense pistol in an inexpensive package that makes training cheap, easy and fun.  

The ISSC M22 features a four-inch Lothar Walther match-grade barrel alongside an overall length of seven inches. Weighing in at 21.4 ounces without a magazine – just under 1 1/2 pounds – its extremely light weight combines perfectly with an exceptionally ergonomic shape and balance that makes carrying and handling this full-size rimfire pistol a non-issue. A trigger pull of just four pounds provides top-notch performance right out of the box while its system of five independently operating safeties ensures security. Among those safeties are: a hammer drop-down safety, a loaded chamber indicator, an external key lock, a trigger safety tab and a magazine disconnect. In addition to all of the aforementioned features, the pistol also features ISSC's proprietary Ti-Clad finish for enhanced protection against rust and corrosion. Other features include: a windage-adjustable rear sight alongside a white dot front sight, a one-piece composite grip and a MIL-STD 1913 rail for the attachment of tactical equipment. As noted, each M22 ships with a single 10-round magazine.
