It took a little bit of grinding with a Dremel to get it to lock in. Pretty easy and well worth it at least for the look! As far as performance, can’t speak to that yet. Came with its own carrying case which could stand to have an extra 1/2 inch of opening. Kinda have to wrestle it in and out. Again, not a big deal if it performs well.
