M1 Carbine Sling

If you give a rifle collector an M1 carbine – the lightweight, semi-automatic rifle chambered in .30 Carbine that was designed during the early years of World War II – naturally, he will want an M1 carbine sling to go with it. Fortunately, you are smart enough to give your business to Keepshooting.com. If you have plans on giving anyone an M1 carbine any time soon, or you have plans of buying one for yourself, you would do well to pick up one of our M1 carbine slings as well.

These high-quality reproductions are reminiscent of the original USGI M1 carbine slings issued to United States troops during World War II and represent the perfect accessory for any M1 carbine.

Spare parts are an important consideration when it comes to firearms. Like any machine, firearms rely on a series of parts to function properly. In general, if a part breaks or fails, a repair or replacement becomes necessary immediately. Though a sling holds no bearing on the functionality of a firearm, it aids in building a firearm that is not only complete, but correct – a consideration that, for some, is almost equally as important as spare parts.

It is also important to consider availability. At this time, Keepshooting.com is seeking to provide our customers with a wide selection of replacement parts and accessories for the iconic M1 carbine. Several parts and accessories are now readily available on our website at an affordable price, including the M1 carbine oiler, which is a component necessary for the mounting of an M1 carbine sling. If you have any need for spare parts and accessories, now would be a good time to take advantage of this offering.

All M1 carbine slings offered by Keepshooting.com are reproductions of the original USGI sling issued alongside WWII-era M1 carbines. As such, they are all in brand new condition, which means they are free of any wear and tear. And even though the appeal of an original sling, outside of being correct, is its historical curiosity, the condition of our M1 carbine slings makes them much more suitable for both display and actual use.

The M1 carbine sling measures approximately one inch wide and is adjustable to 46 inches in total length. The sling is, which is presented in an olive drab coloring, is constructed from a durable canvas material. As noted, all features of the original are present and accounted for, including the necessary metal fittings needed for mounting.

The way I see it is you have got two options. You can shell out the money it takes to purchase an original M1 carbine sling, mount it to your M1 carbine and then never shoot it again for fear of ruining the sling. Or, you can shell out a measly $9.95 for our M1 carbine sling and keep shooting for years to come. The choice is clear…

These are nice slings, especially for the price. Sturdy military type sling and cheap to boot. the only downside i found is that they appear to be shorter then the GIs ones. if your are a big guy you may have trouble slinging it across your back. Review by alex (Posted on 4/19/2016)

The sling, including the metal components, appears to be made of quality material and I have no doubt it will last me for many years. The oiler is appears to be machined from quality materials as well and the threading is tight. Installation was easy, although because the sling material was new, it took a couple of taps with a mallet to get the oiler in place in the stock grove. I am quite pleased with the products and would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Review by Kirk (Posted on 2/28/2016)

I got this sling to put on my Auto-Ordnance Model 160. They don't really make any newer style two-point slings for the M1 but when the older style is this well made why change it. Fit and function are spot on for my carbine. If you ever "hoof it" any great distance with your carbine, this sling is for you. Review by AvidShooter (Posted on 12/11/2012)
