The M8 Cleaning Rod is an all original purpose-build cleaning rod for the M1 Carbine during World War II. These cleaning rods were made as part of a war time production contract but were never used due to the end of the war. Those who collect M1 Carbine accessories will want to add one of these M8 Cleaning Rods to their collection as eventually there will be no more originals available.
