I have only used this product for cosplay and not for a CBRN emergency. The product itself feels well made and safe. The strap is secure and the glass portion seems clear and sturdy. For the sake of your life, get trained on how to use it and test the filter when you get it to make sure it's safe to use in the situation you plan to use it for. As for durability, I can't really speak on that as I've only cosplayed as a DC character and taken pictures of myself in this fashion. If there is an emergency situation you're in, make sure you keep the 4-way fill-station valve closed and avoid shaking it around as well. I hope this was useful. You need to have at least 1 NBC gas mask. One that works. And another that is ready to paint and do what you want. 1 of each for each person in your family and you will be fine. And by all means buy these NBC filters.

The m50 doesn’t come with 3 filters it is an optional upgrade so keep that in mind, the packaging looks great but it seems to come from a knock off country or a guy with access to really good china foil. Other than that great piece of mind knowing I have something reliable if I ever need it

Really nice gas mask and filter. The masks feel very comfortable to me. The mask comes with two different face shield options, a basic face shield, and a 3M face shield (like a peltor or Safety Goggles). They are very light and feel really nice to me. I bought the one I bought from KeepShooting whos masks have an amazing lifetime guarantee. Highly recommend for anyone in an environment that may use one. For a small price for a very amazing item. Very happy. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!
