Love taken mre on camping trips as my outdoor cooking skills suck. The cookies are a little weird flavor but everything else is great. Just pick up your litter and keep USA clean. Review by van (Posted on 6/14/2016)

I keep a few in my basement and a few in my car, because you never know when you're gonna need 'em. The price seems a bit high at first, but when you think about how much you're getting, it's really not too bad at all. Review by Anon (Posted on 7/20/2014)

I'm not a fan of MREs. There's a difference between eating one to be tactical and HAVING to eat them.
That said, MREs are great as high-calorie sustainment rations in the field. They can be stripped down to take up less space. Always carry a couple stripped down in your emergency bag (I have a couple in the bag in the trunk of my car).
Thank God, the packet offered by Keepshooting.com does not have the Veggie Omelet MRE. Those things are awful.

I would rather eat this than fast food any day! It isn't too expensive, it's portable, easy to make, and has a respectable shelf life. Seal it like the expensive survival food brands yourself, and it will last even longer. Review by Michael (Posted on 12/31/2013)

Having eaten many types and makers of rations to include field rations dating back to the Vietnam War, these are one of the best. Compares with the issue MRE's used by the military.
Almost like having a good home cooked meal. Well as close as you are going to get in the field.

Just don't tell the wife or girlfriend that it beats her cooking.

Would recommend to a friend without fear of loosing the friendship.
