Whether you wear this net shirt to keep cool or just like the way it looks, it is a great shirt from Norway.
Okay an insulation gap... Makes sense, give it a try. For the summer ... I don't think this is the look I want, horrible tan lines you know. I'd look like a seared peice of steak.. It might pass to get into a store as long as you have shoes.... Not going to repel mosquitos either, maybe a bat.... Might work for fishing... It is Norweigian. It is cotton and a smallish size large, but does stretch a bit after laundry. If this does its insulation thing , I'll love it. Lightweight and easy to pack, small air pockets between a shirt and sweater. Great. Leave it to KS to find this one....
Have had Swedish net shirts in the past and found them to be very effective, but they are hard to find. Buy it, you won't regret it!
Yeah, I know, you're skeptical of a net shirt. I was too, but I figured the Norwegians had to know something about cold weather clothing. Turns out, this shirt does make a difference. The idea is that the net shirt is worn as a middle layer, and is sandwiched between two other layers. The mesh basically creates small pockets to hold warm air. The net shirt is totally worth the low price!
