Parker-Hale M98 Receiver Casting

The Parker-Hale Gun Company known as Parker Hale Ltd, of Birmingham England was a well known and established gun company. There were many rifles produced under the Parker-Hale name that continue to server shooters, hunters, and security forces around the world. Most of the Parker-Hale line was produced entirely in England and these receiver castings are an example of how Parker-Hale began production runs.

These Parker-Hale M98 Receiver Castings were made for Parker-Hale by Yeovil Prescision Castings from EN9 steel. This was the basis for the receiver, with this casting then machined to completion and heat treated by Parker-Hale. Once the receiver was fully machined and heat treated, it would be used to assemble one of the Parker-Hale M98 style rifles.
