Smallish daypack that compresses well, not the strongest I've ever had, but certainly sufficient as my get-back-home kit in my truck. Packed lightly, it fits under the front seat of my truck on the passenger side, packed full, I can stuff it behind the seat. I also have another that I got years back, same design, but different color (black), been using it as a spare cords gig bag.
CAME TODAY AND WAS AMAZED IT WAS BRAND NEW!! A GOOD SIZE THE DAY HIKING OR TRAVELING OVERNIGHT.. HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE. AND AS ALWAYS, KEEP SHOOTING DELIVERS !!
Material is a little thin but still heavy duty. Straps are like seat belts but are comfy. Best budget 24-72 hour pack!
Just received this bag and I have to say for sub ten dollars I couldn't do better if It tried. The bag I received had a different insignia on it which was still unique and attractive to me and is great. There are two side pockets and a main pocket. Each of the side pockets are perfect for holding two boxes of 25 12 gauge shells right on top of each other. The straps feel like seat belt material and while I don't it would hold up to extreme weight I have to say great bag to keep in the truck with basic supplies. Would for certain buy again!
For the price you definitely get more pack than you pay for. Material is a little thin and straps are not the greatest for a heavy load. Compresses very small and compact. Good size similar to a 3 day size pack.
Great condition and appears to have never been used! Perfectly finishes up my Serbian civil defense uniform. The pack I received had a woven yellow field with the blue triangle and star which was then sewn to the pack rather than the leather depicted but still is great. it hold the gear I need to to hold as well as mess kits and such. I'm glad for it being such a rare product Keepshooting has the common sense to have a low price on them so they actually sell. Thanks!
Maybe I am spoiled by standard milsurp canvas, but I expected heavier gauge material. That is why I am giving it a 3 on quality. The webbing ties and straps are all fine as is the hardware. The fasteners are of the floating serrated type that gets pressed down when tightened, but need the right touch to work. Both sides have an external strap to tie down something like a jacket or shirt. There is also a tie on the inside of the top cover for securing something. There is an extra layer on the bottom to reinforce it, but it is not rigid at all. This bag can easily be folded down into a very small shape, which is probably one of its strong points.
Mine appears to be unused and in very great shape. The shoulder straps on mine are black and are adjustable. It's a pretty unique pack which is why i ordered it and don't regret it, this is the only place to buy these so get them while you can!
I think this an alright bag. Definitely has room, and the front pockets are useful. I'm not happy that the straps cant be adjusted but its not a huge deal. Especially since i got it for an overnight bag. You can use it for just about anything.
Great all around pack, got it because of the navy blue color, has 1 big pouch and 2 smaller ones, great for about a 3 days adventure
I wasn't expecting to be as happy as I was with this product. I like milsurp packs and this one is one of the best ones I have gotten. The patch was attached and all was in great condition. The material feels very strong and this would make a good carry pack or range pack for sure.
Works for everything you need to carry. Very durable and will last a long time!
This is a great bag for the money! I didn't realize how great a buy it was until I saw a friend of mine with a purse with the exact same layout (down to the external pockets and the drawstring) that I guarantee she paid at least three times as much for! Plus, this is definitely more my style! I've had several people notice the bag in my car and ask me what it was and where I got it - the navy blue color of it is really distinctive! The bag's straps are made out of what seems to be the same material a car's seatbelt is made out of, and definitely looks tough! As well, there's straps attached to the bottom of the bag's top flap - I've used them to store a rolled-up pair of jeans when I was using this as an overnight bag, but it seems like it's designed for a sleeping roll.
The drawstring doesn't come with a cinch, but that's not a really big deal as long as you know how to tie a slipknot.
(As an aside, apparently there are several types of patches with the civil defense emblem - mine was a piece of fabric with the design on it as opposed to the thicker patch pictured. This bag is still a great value, and now you have an excuse to buy more than one!)
I put this in my jeep every where i go. I jeep my Serbian m88a handgun a extra mag and Serbian cleaning kit and 200rds of ppu ammo. I loaded on ar/m16 stripper clips. I have a russian shelter half in it and 2 MRE'S. I mean I have enough room in it to put what I need for 2 or 3 days.
Great price and nice everyday bag
