Spanish Army OD Commando Sweater

I wear this jacket a lot. I work at a golf course so I need a jacket that's durable. This one does the trick. And the color. . good fit too.

It was what my father-in-law was looking for, a jacket/sweater type. It's well made and he said it is the warmest item he has had in some time. It will work well for his hiking/nature walks.

It looks like the sleeves will go down to my hands which is what I was looking for, otherwise the sweater looks nice. I have purchased them in different colors in the past. Not sure if I should exchange for smaller size. Thought I had it bad with size Large...made me order Small instead. It was tight before I washed it, it will probably be really tight after I wash it. Oh well, the quality is great and that is what I am after. Update: I just tried on a Large. Not as big as I thought. It will fit after washing, just wish the shrinkage wasn't as much as it will. Too much guess work. I will return the Small, even if I have to pay to do so. Still will order a couple more. This company always takes care of its buyers and I really appreciate that.

Awesome! I had a different version of this when I was in college, that’s 30 years ago. This version is more soft. Fits well, with a great wearing feel. Worth it

It's great. Fits as expected, feels comfortable, I use it for a casual, slightly military styled outfit, when I want to appear in public looking smart. (But I still need a tactical vest and shades.) As it's wool and nylon, I do recommend that it's worn with a shirt underneath.

A few days before shipment, wash it and the size changed a bit so had to do it again but finally the fit is OK and as advertised. It was a long wait but with a busy schedule for the seller I can understand. As a German item that fits the rest

nice and roomy

Sweater was heavier than I thought it would be, but was still comfortable for my mountain winter in WV. Did not fit like the XL fit in a different brand.

Just got this in, and was pleasantly surprised at how well made it is.

I'm female, size 14-16 depending on the item and fit. For women there is no LARGE option. 2XL is quite baggy, more like XXXL. Very very nice wool. It is definitely a wool which means you can actually take it off in the heat, and put it back on when cold. Nice for a car-to-office trip as it can take you through many seasons in a single day. The wool is warm enough that I'm able to do light to moderate yard work without feeling overheated. Warm, but definitely does not make you hot. The knit has a tighter weave than most wool sweaters so is not prone to stretching out, like those horrible acrylic blends do, especially at the wrists. Sizing - I wear an XL sweater usually and a XXL sweater sometimes. The XXXL I purchased is roomy but not ridiculously so. I am considering a large for my brother, but haven't gotten it yet. My father will probably need an extra large. It wash really well, as long as you use cold water and hang dry. I did not find it necessary to use dryer sheets. I think the odor control really works. The wool odor goes away. It is nice to not have the "ew, what is that nasty funky sweater smell?" like some cheaper and lower quality synthetic blends. Very nice fit, and I would buy it again in a larger size for myself and/or another one for my brother. Update - I have purchased 2 more of these since I wrote the original review. One is a size small and the other a medium. I like to have a few in rotation. These really are nice wool sweaters. No nasty petrochemical dyes or stiff smelly nylon or polyesters, no smelly odor control chemicals.

Great sweater for fall and the use to use for my heavy outer in Waffen SS reenactment!

I wear this on my 3-4 trips a month, snow, or no snow it's perfect!! Very warm and so soft, also does well in the wash!!!! My friend wants one!!!!! This is by far my favorite sweater ever!!!
