The Streamlight TLR-2 tactical laser is a compact, rail-mounted light/laser combination designed to be used as both an illumination aid for low-light shooting as well as a laser sighting device for use with a range of the world's most popular pistols. The innovative light, which boasts an overall lifespan of 50,000 hours, utilizes a C4® LED that delivers a peak beam intensity of up to 8,000 candelas and 160 lumens. It is powered by two 3V CR123 lithium batteries, and provides up to 2 1/2 hours of continuous use. With a range and brightness comparable to a xenon bulb, the C4® LED is said to be two to three times brighter than high-flux LEDs. Lighting is also aided by a unique parabolic reflector, which produces a concentrated beam for optimal peripheral illumination, giving you a complete view of your immediate surroundings. The light is manipulated by ambidextrous controls that provide for both momentary and steady on or off.

The powerful 660 nm micro laser is designed for long-range precision targeting and may either be used alone or in conjunction with the C4® LED light. When used alone, the laser may run for up to 11 hours of continuous use. Like the light, the laser offers ambidextrous controls (three-position mode selector), full point-of-aim adjustment and excellent sight retention.

These electronics are housed within an ergonomic case that measures 3.26 inches in total length. The dustproof body of the assembly is constructed from 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with an anodized finish, while the laser features a high-impact, chemical-resistant polymer housing. It may also interest you to know that the TLR-2 is waterproof to one meter for up to 30 minutes and carries an operational temperature range between -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

I receved the tlr-2 within the 3-7 days. Had no problem operating, is very easy.mounts to my glock-31 with no problems and also the lite is very bright as also is the laser.got to the range and zeroed out the laser at 15 yards.then removed the lite and put back on and still on target.this is well worth the money

This is a great product and works great on my 870 pump shotgun. I thought I wanted a light/laser with a remote pressure switch but decided I did not want the cord getting tangled. I was worried that this light would be difficult to operate with my hand on the forend. Luckily it is not a problem at all! The switch is very well placed and easy to operate with my thumb and forefinger. The light is very bright and the laser is bright. The construction is durable and metal, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Well worth the money! FWIW, I used the laserlyte tri-rail to attach the light to the mag tube, and got it on KeepShooting for 21 shipped. It works great and is very low profile.

I was adivised this was the helmet light to get. So far it has performed as promised. Great light output. Secures simply and tight to the helmet brim. I like the twist switch, easier not to get bumped on. The rear blue light is a bonus safety feature. Worth it.

This is a high quality tactical light. It is all-aluminum construction and is VERY bright. The strobe function works great. The red laser is bright enough to be seen in the day and with the flashlight/strobelight on. The battery life is excellent, especially when compared to a xenon light source. There is no high-pitched whine when the laser is on (unlike some cheaper tactical lights). It mounts VERY securely to a Picatinny rail with the included keys. I would recommend this product.

This is as good as it gets. Bright and high quality. Not cheap but for your primary gun this is what you want. I have it on my Barrette M9A1 and it look sweet. Sometimes I just stare at if for an hour or two, just because it looks so friggin sexy. The NcStar is another good option if you are strapped for cash. I have a bunch of them.

This was my first firearm light and was skeptical at first but after researching it throughly I went for this setup.
It was an excellent choice if I dont say so myself but this my review so take it for what it is worth.
It was either this or Surefire or Insight and of the three this is the most economical for what its worth with the comboe light/laser and what I wanted. I mounted it on my S&W M&P .45 ACP with a 4.5 inch barrel and was worried that it wouldnt fit on my rail but it did perfectly. I love it. It looks good and is not too heavy to weight down the front of the gun. I am a disabled vet in a wheelchair as well and I have a difficult time holding the pistol in the firing posittion for very long my injury prevents me from doing so. So I opted for the laser combo so I can hold at waistlevel and fire downrange pretty accurately. Its a good buy so get one for yourself!!

I was very pleased to receive my TLR-2 in great condition and quickly. The unit mounts very easily to the rail of my gun and there were several adapters for specific guns and rails that could be easily switched out to accomodate different weapons.

This is very bright and easy to operate. I feel totally confident that I can defend my house now with my pistol and this light and laser. Now I won't have to shoot at anything that doesn't need to be shot at. I have also bought the TLR-1 and the hand held tactical for streamlight. All are very bright and well made.
