Sussex Police Black Fleece Jacket

The Sussex Police have been the official Home Office police force for all of Sussex since 1968. These first line law enforcement professionals have duties over the entire County of Sussex which includes the University of Sussex. As part of these duties the Home Office has issued these black fleece jackets to be worn by all officers in the Sussex Police force.

Sussex has a reputation of being a culturally distinct location unlike no other county in England. Looking at these police jackets you can see this spirit runs through the Home Office as these jackets look nothing like other British police jackets. The most obvious difference is the lack of blue and white or black and white sillitoe tartan which you will find on every other British police jacket.
