Swedish Army Webbing
The Swedish Army Webbing is a military-spec roll of webbing that is 1" in diameter and 50 meters long. This webbing was used by the Swedish Army to create pack straps, tie downs, and field work. Virtually all units and divisions of the military had uses for this webbing as it is strong, durable, versatile, and easy to adapt to any purpose.
The use of webbing by military forces has been long established since the first roll was produced. In the field soldiers will always have a need to tie down gear, repair broken straps, rig equipment, and more. Webbing is densely woven for strength, durability, and versatility that rope is not able to achieve and also provides a flat profile.
With these significant advantages, more often than not webbing is vastly superior to rope for tasks both in the field and back at base. We have seen where soldiers have wrapped webbing around knives and rifle hand guards for an improved grip surface. You will find that once you own a roll of webbing, the amount of uses you find will grow over time and you'll begin to wonder how you lived without it.
