The Swiss Army Wool Sweater is a heavy weight wool sweater that is in like new condition. Made from the distinctive "Swiss Blue" dyed wool, you'll look great and stay super warm wearing this sweater.
They don't make sweaters like these anymore!
Well, they might, but a wool variety of this quality will probably run you $200.
This sweater is much thicker and heavier than any other sweater I own, which also makes it the warmest. Last year I purchased a wool sweater from LLBean, and it's nice, but this one is better quality. The size was right on for me.
The description says this sweater is a "Swiss blue," but it's really a greenish grey.
Most of my sweaters come from thrift stores so this one was expensive compared to those. Compared to a new sweater of comparable quality, it is quite inexpensive. Very tightly woven without feeling stiff. Well worth the price.
I purchased one of these from Keepshooting awhile ago. The sweater is of excellent quality, very well made. It is warm, almost too warm to wear inside; it is like wearing a lightweight coat. I usually one wear it when it is very cold and I know I am going to spend a lot of time outdoors. A comparable sweater in a name brand I can see costing quite a few times more than what Keepshooting is selling them at.
These sweaters are super warm and as far as I can tell brand new. The XL (56) fit perfect as I am 6'2" and I like a sweater that goes past the waist so it doesn't pull up and expose you to the cold. With a gore-Tex parka and this sweater you will stay warm in the most severe wet cold weather. Got to love wool! You can't go wrong with this sweater, I grabbed two and at a very good price too!
