You get more than your moneys worth
Wow Just Wow I love this kit it has so many options to fix, repair, or shine your boots. I was amazed at all the stuff you get with this kit.
3 big brushes
2 small brushes
1 polishing rag
misc. buttons
thread
2 different kinds of shoe polish
some kind of crevice cleaning tool
and other stuff I can't think of at the moment
The bag appears to be very durable and is begging to be used.
Thanks KS

Depends on what you need it for.
At first I though I might have a problem with buying too much military surplus when I received this. However, I am surprised at how many times I use mine. What separates this kit from others is the amount of brushes you receive with it. Mine came with two soft, one hard rectangular brushes, and two soft toothbrush style brushes. These kits also come with a wax stick labeled FIX on it for smoothing out scuffs in leather, it seems to work. I use the brushes to clean mud off of my shoes before polishing them. If you live in southeast PA you know our Spring typically consists of a lot of rain, and that along with the PA clay makes mud, sticky mud. The nylon brush that come with it is perfect for knocking the mud off. I purchased a few just for the brushes, which I use for cleaning things around the house and in the yard. The price of this thing is worth it for the brushes alone. However, the only down side is that I had to clean the brushed free of shoe polish before using them with mineral spirits. I never used the semi dried up shoe polish that comes with them; yep I keep a few cans of Kiwi brand in mine.
