The M14 Owner's Guide traces history and development from the T44 through the adoption and production of the M14 rifle. Evolution of the sniper rifle variations are chronicled. History of the military National Match rifle and the introduction and manufacture of the civilian M14 rifles are described. Prior to the publication of this book, no single document existed which described in detail selecting a rifle, operation, troubleshooting, disassembly/assembly, inspection, maintenance, cleaning and zeroing the M14.
