The US Military AN/PVS-14 Pouch is a high performance MOLLE pouch designed and manufactured by Tactical Tailor Inc. While this pouch was originally designed to hold the AN/PVS-14 night vision device it is large enough to hold many other items. Tactical Tailor ensured that the interior of the pouch had a large padded section to securely hold the AN/PVS-14 which gives you many options for securing your own important electronic device or personally owned AN/PVS-14. Bought this when it was a "daily deal" so it was a score to say the least. Even the regular price is great for a quality piece of gear. I plan on using to bring a second optic or a tac light by attaching it to my range bag or rifle case when headed to the range. Or to just store myhigh end accessories when not in use. Like my surefire x300, or my OPMOD Vortex Strikefire red dot (which fits absolutely PERFECT w/the cantilever mount on it).
The zippers are very good qualiy, but I plan on mod'ing em so i can lock it the pouch. The double zippers open the pouch to the point were It'll lay out flat. There's bout ¼" or more padding on the back. The back side of the interior has a 6" Velcro section where a ⅛” padded divider, which is mainly meant to make a square protected section, vut will form to any shape tac lligh or optic u want to protect, & althoushape . The front interior has a very strong 6" mesh pocket (not cheap leash that rips after one snag) to hold batteries, accessories, pressure pads or switches for tac lights, etc. Along w/ 2 rows of molle webbing to secure AA batteries, a R/G/IR laser, or any specific tools needed for whatever its is ur carrying. The front has 3 rows of strong molle webbing to attach an extra small padded pouch or whatever.
Can't even tell u how happy I am w/this pouch. I have multiple red dots & tac lights designated for specific weapons & now I can store or carry em with its intended weapon w/out worrying about any damage. Will def be buying more. Thanks KS!
