The US Military CFP-90 Large Field Pack is designed to give fighting forces a high performance pack to carry combat gear while in the field. This pack holds an enormous amount in the main compartment alone with there being additional size pockets for added storage. With this cargo capacity the military designers incorporated an internal frame that is adjustable which will help evenly distribute the load to reduce fatigue.
The CFP-90 has everything that makes a large backpack work for you rather than weigh you down. Starting with the evenly distributed cargo capacity thanks to the internal frame this pack feels lighter than smaller packs even when fully loaded. Add in the woodland camouflage pattern to help camouflage your gear and you have the look to match the performance. Round these two out with the proven combat performance and you have every reason to add the CFP-90 to your arsenal of outdoor gear.

This pack is the missing link between USGI ALICE gear and the modern MOLLE. Mine was used with some very minor staining on the back pad and a small tear which was easily repaired.
It's a very roomy ruck and comfortable to wear. There are several external pockets as well as a map pocket in the cover. Plus the sleeping bag section can be separated from the main compartment.
Overall this is a great ruck and a great addition to your military surplus collection!
