The knife it's self seems very nice. However the sheath leaves something to be desired. It's sturdy but the knife doesn't want to seat it's self properly. There rivets or something on the inside that scratch the finish off the blade. Good knife, faulty sheath.

The first one I got was machined and assembled at an angle. The replacement had an odd cut handle. The scabbard won't accept the full blade. It also scratches the blade due to the rivet that holds the sharpening stone. Also the snap for the securing band was placed wrong and won't fit around the knife at all. Really a let down

Love this knife. Had one thirty years ago. Lost it. Finally got this one as a gift. Kind of on the pricy side, but worth it, I think. But knives are like women. What works for me might not work for you.

The blade came completely dull (not an exaggerated statement, the edge is like an ax) and the tip is already dented out of the box.

The blade scratches easily due to the rivits inside the cheap leather sheath (which also got scratched on the first insertion).

The knife doesn't fit inside the sheath either, and the clasp barely closed around the handle.

Overall I'm extremely disappointed in Ontario for this one, I have several of their other products and they all appear better than this one does.

Metal parts of the sheath scratch up the blade, which could be fixed during the production process. I ordered 3 of these knives, and they all have the same problem. Otherwise, this is a fine knife for the price.

The knife is excellent, well made and sharp. The sheath however has unsanded rivets that scratch the blade. It is also very hard to draw the knife from it. I’m definitely going to look for a better sheath. I’m happy with the knife though.

I was please with construction and size of the knife. Nevertheless the sheath has the backend of two grommets that will scratch your knife as soon you use the sheath. If you read other reviews this has happen to other customers.

Edge could of been much better. Now I have it razor sharp using a 1x30 belt sander. Been using this for a couple of months. Holding up great.
