That's right, they said it was new, unissued and it was. Good to still be able to get to get new parts for these old war horses. One of the rods even has the plastic bore guide on it that's not pictured.

Came in original Sept 1954 unopened packaging. Product in excellent condition for 63 years old. Great buy!

  3. The Real Deal review by Michael on 4/9/2017

It's not sexy, it's not innovative. However, it is unquestionably the real thing. The packaging showed the effects of long-term storage but kept the contents pristine. There was a greyish patina on the parts which disappeared with an application of Kroil and a few drops of same into the recesses to smooth out the threads. It's a nice piece of history as well as being a practical tool.
