USGI Wool Watch Cap - Black

Nice cap, good quality however it was too small for me.

We purchase 5 caps to send with other items to Marines. A church member who served in Middle East, said they appreciated any and all items from home, but their heads sure got cold. Right away we knew we wanted to send caps. These were reasonable and fit into small boxes we were sending.

Just like the one I was issued a Great Lakes Naval Training Academy I the blustery February/March of '94. Too bad I don't have my stenciling kit anymore. Anyhow, I wear an extra large hat this cap fits very comfortably with no stretching needed and covers my ears. Just as warm as I remember, but not as scratchy - of course my head is not shaved anymore. I think it will prove to be a great purchase.

No better headwear in the winter in my opinion. The wool keeps my head and ears warm in even the coldest weather yet doesn't overheat my head when i go inside in the heat. I have bought three of these over the years and will continue to do so.

Husband liked it. His uncle used to wear one.
