Good idea, needs improvements. The plunger that locks it in place has very tight tolerances and if you don't have it positioned just so, it will grind away the aluminum on the inside of the base. Other than the plunger the sight is very well made and has potential to be a great option. Until then I would suggest saving your only and going with magpul sights
