Bought for TBS memories, use it for everythingActually bought this for my home bar because I graduated The Basic School in 2015 and wanted something authentic from the 240th Marine Corps Birthday Ball. 16oz capacity fits a proper craft pour with headroom for foam, the pilsner taper concentrates hop aroma right under your nose just like its supposed to. The heavy Luminarc glass keeps beer cold longer than those thin pint glasses from the gas station. Then I discovered it's also perfect for: drinking root beer with my kids who think the Eagle Globe and Anchor is cool, holding pens and challenge coins on my desk when I'm not drinking, serving milkshakes to my nephews because the heavy base prevents spills, and as a water cup during Peloton workouts. Construction is legit Luminarc France. Mine has the etched 240th Ball design crisp and deep, wont wear off in the dishwasher like screened logos do. The glass is thick walled, probably 3mm at the rim, feels substantial not cheap thin stuff that chips when you clink it.
For $4 it's cheaper than any Spiegelau pilsner glass that breaks if you look at it wrong. The Marine Corps specific branding scares some civilians off thinking they didn't serve so they can't own it, but this is just a really good beer glass.
