First Aid at Keep Shooting
Keep Shooting carries tactical and general-purpose first aid from the brands that military medics, law enforcement, and civilian first responders trust for real-world trauma care — North American Rescue (NAR), QuikClot, Elite First Aid, SWAT-T, H&H Medical, and Adventure Medical Kits. Our first aid catalog spans the full continuum from TCCC-compliant tactical IFAKs for plate carrier loadouts and patrol duty belts, through general-purpose range and household kits, to wilderness backcountry medical kits and instructional training materials. Every first aid item on this page is in stock and ships from our Pennsylvania warehouse with fast delivery, easy returns, and free shipping on orders over $49.95.
The centerpiece of our first aid catalog is the equipment that addresses the single greatest preventable cause of death in both combat and civilian trauma: uncontrolled hemorrhage. The North American Rescue Combat Application Tourniquet (C-A-T) is the standard-issue tourniquet of the United States military and the most widely deployed tourniquet in law enforcement, EMS, and civilian Stop the Bleed programs across the country. The C-A-T uses a windlass system that can be self-applied to an extremity with one hand in under 30 seconds, and it has been credited with saving thousands of lives in combat and civilian mass-casualty events since its adoption. We also carry the SWAT-T Tourniquet in both black and high-visibility orange — the stretch-wrap tourniquet that doubles as a pressure dressing and can be applied to extremities, junctional areas, and pediatric patients where a windlass tourniquet cannot reach or does not fit.
For hemostatic (blood-clotting) agents, we carry QuikClot Clotting Gauze in 2-foot and 4-foot rolls. QuikClot is a kaolin-impregnated gauze that accelerates the body's natural clotting cascade when packed into a wound — it is the hemostatic agent recommended by the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) and is standard issue across U.S. military and most civilian law enforcement agencies. Kaolin works by activating Factor XII in the clotting cascade, which triggers the intrinsic clotting pathway without generating heat (unlike earlier-generation hemostatic agents that used exothermic reactions). The 4-foot roll provides enough gauze to tightly pack a deep wound cavity; the 2-foot roll is sized for IFAK-compatible packaging where space is at a premium.
Our North American Rescue lineup goes beyond the tourniquet to cover the full MARCH treatment protocol that TCCC teaches for tactical trauma care. The NAR Emergency Trauma Dressing is a pressure bandage designed for direct wound compression — the same type of dressing military medics apply after wound packing to maintain pressure on the hemostatic gauze. The NAR S-Rolled Gauze is a compact roller gauze for wound packing and securing dressings. The NAR Individual Aid Kit bundles tourniquet, gauze, and dressing components into a single IFAK-compatible pouch. And the NAR Individual Officer Patrol Kit is a law enforcement-specific configuration designed for patrol officers to carry on their duty belt or in a patrol vehicle — the same kit type that Stop the Bleed programs recommend for every officer to carry in the field.
The H&H Medical Bleeding Control Basic Kit is a pre-packaged hemorrhage control kit designed for civilian and workplace use — a simpler, lower-cost entry point for shooters, range owners, and preparedness buyers who want bleeding control capability without the full complexity of a military IFAK. It includes the core components for hemorrhage control in a compact format sized for a range bag, vehicle glove box, or home emergency kit.
The Elite First Aid lineup covers the broadest range of kit configurations in our catalog. The Elite First Aid Tactical IFAK Kit in black is a complete Individual First Aid Kit in a MOLLE-compatible pouch for plate carrier and vest mounting. The GP Individual First Aid Kits in Level 1 and Level 2 provide graduated capability for general-purpose field use — Level 1 covers basic wound care and the Level 2 adds trauma components. The Patrol Trauma Kits in Level 1 and Level 2 are law enforcement-configured kits sized for a patrol vehicle or duty bag. The General Purpose First Aid Kit covers the everyday cuts, burns, and minor injuries that happen at the range, in the workshop, or in the field. And the Rapid Response First Aid Kit is a grab-and-go kit for vehicle or home staging.
For backcountry and wilderness use, we carry Adventure Medical Kits — the Mountain Hiker Medical Kit for day hikes and backcountry hunting trips, and the MOLLE Bag Trauma Kit 0.5 that bridges the gap between a wilderness first aid kit and a tactical IFAK with MOLLE-compatible external attachment. Our specialty first aid items include the Gunshot Trauma First Aid Kit (a purpose-built kit for range emergencies and shooting incidents), the Tactical Trauma First Aid Kit, Sterile Burn Sheets, Knuckle Woven Adhesive Bandages, the CPR First Aid quick-reference card, and the First Aid For Soldiers Manual — the U.S. military's own field first aid reference.
For training and education, we carry four instructional DVDs: the First Aid DVD (general first aid procedures), the Gunshot Wound DVD, the Knife Wound DVD, and the Blunt Force Trauma DVD. These are training resources — not substitutes for hands-on instruction. We strongly recommend that every shooter who carries a tourniquet or IFAK also complete a Stop the Bleed course, a TCCC course, or at minimum a Red Cross first aid / CPR certification, so that the equipment in your kit is backed by the training to use it correctly under stress. Equipment without training is a liability, not an asset.
Keep Shooting ships all first aid products from our Pennsylvania warehouse with fast delivery, easy returns, and free shipping on orders over $49.95. Whether you are a range officer who needs an IFAK for the range safety station, a concealed carry permit holder who wants a tourniquet in the vehicle, a hunter heading into backcountry where the nearest hospital is an hour away, or a preparedness-minded citizen building a home emergency kit, our first aid catalog covers the equipment that saves lives when seconds matter.
