Looks great but not a home runThis jacket looks great with the neat camo pattern and it has the German flags on the shoulders. When it said parka I confess I was expecting a winter jacket. This is lightweight. The zipper doesn’t run the length of the jacket (kinda weird). I’m 5’7” and the med sleeves were just a bit too short although not bad( maybe close enough for some people). I also ordered the liner which in no way attaches to this btw.
Looks and quality
Sleeves were slightly shorter for the med size. Zipper doesn’t run completely the length

XL with an asterisk*In the last 3 months I've ordered 3 of these parkas. 1st one: Outstanding! XL - Long is how it fit.. Works great.. 2nd parka was ordered again XL.... What I received was a large.. But, I kept it and gave it to a friend, so it worked out good. 3rd order was again ordered as XL.. What I received was an XL-Short. I did keep the XL-short and made some alterations so it now fits like a XL-Long. There was no packing slip with the order, but I did receive all of the items. These are great parkas.. Its just a bit of a guess to the actual size that arrives...Hence the asterisk...

Quality parkaI ordered the XL parka and it was great fit in my shoulders and chest (6'-3" - 245lbs). It also has good arm movement. The quality is outstanding and very well made. I wore it on a 6 mile hike while fishing at 10k elevation in the sierras. That day was overcast, with cloud drip, and the winds came up. The parka blocked the wind great and the hood was another handy feature. The parka I received was made in 1999. It's a bit faded after 26yrs and had 1 broken zipper pull on a pocket.. I removed the zipper so I have one pocket that has easy access. I also added sum dummy cords to the pockets.. The left handed zipper works good. It does not come with a liner, so on colder days another layer will work well. I liked the parka so much, I ordered a second one...
Great wind blocking coat. good size pockets. The parka was not made to be a rain coat, so carry a light rain shell that will fit over it and you will be in business for a year around garment depending on your activities and weather.
