Bought as gift, husband loves itHusband wanted a "tactical tomahawk" for his birthday, I thought it was ridiculous but bought it anyway. Figured it would live in his closet with other impulse buys. He uses it constantly camping, yard work, opening boxes when he can't find a knife. Says it's the perfect size for one-handed work, not tiring like a full axe. The spike end is his favorite for breaking up roots and hard soil. The sheath is decent, has a belt loop he actually uses. The handle is textured, doesn't slip when wet. He's had it a year, no breakage, no major complaints. Sharpens it occasionally, says that's normal for any blade. For $70 it's been worth it for the entertainment value alone. I've used it myself for garden work lighter than my clunky hatchet. Didn't expect to like it.

Beast of a tomahawkThis thing is an absolute beast. I used it to clear brush and break through old fence posts during a camping trip, and it handled everything like a champ. The shipping was super fast too, arrived in just two days!
Great weight balance for throwing
Sheath quality could be better

Wish I would have had one during my deployments! This is one sweet piece of kit. Use it for deflating tires, breeching ,digging a foxhole or a hide. Use it as a pry bar or to remove debris. This one tool replaces the bayonet, pry bar and e-tool. You grunts know how heavy the armor and ammo can get and this Hawk is nice and light. Oh and yeah great for splitting skulls!
