Very closeI used to own an original. This is a very close copy in appearance. The difference is in the steel. SS vs. Carbon steel of original. But other than that it is so close, but for the lack of aging they are identical. Great price. Aside from color of the sheath the quality is excellent.

B+ gradeI agree with the first review that the only glitch is the shiney finish of the handle. The scabbard is shiny also. Sand the handle then wax it with brown kiwi and it will be fine. Scuff the scabbard and spray with rustoleum self etching primer and it will be fine. The blade is fine as is. I own several old kabars and wwii leather handle knives and bayonets so I'm not just making it up. However, the description as an inexpensive display item is 100% correct. I appreciate the honesty.
Good value.

For price OKKnife isn’t to bad and will pass as original if left in scabard...but not this one. This is the weak spot and doesn’t even come close to original!

Not a bad bladeIf you are looking for reenactment item then this should fit the bill. The knife looks just like the orginal but the handle is a little to shiny and the blade does not hold a good edge but that might be my fault. The price is not bad.
