Description
Features
- 550 lb Minimum Tensile Strength — Rated to hold a minimum of 550 pounds, giving you serious working strength in a cord that's barely thicker than a pencil lead.
- Type III 7-Strand Core — Seven twisted inner yarns provide the rated strength and can be pulled out individually for fishing line, sewing thread, snares, or emergency stitches.
- 100% Nylon Construction — All-nylon sheath and core resist rot, mildew, and UV exposure while staying flexible across a wide temperature range.
- Commercial-Grade Spec — Built to the same dimensions and construction as MIL-C-5040H Type III paracord, minus the government contract paperwork and price tag.
- 5/32" Diameter — Standard 4mm (5/32") outside diameter works with every common paracord buckle, bead, and jig on the market.
- Smooth Braided Sheath — Tightly woven 32-strand outer sheath slides cleanly through hardware and resists abrasion against rock, bark, and gear edges.
- Heat-Sealable Ends — Nylon construction lets you melt and fuse cut ends with a lighter to prevent fraying — no glue or whipping required.
- Endless Utility Uses — Lash gear, build shelters, replace boot laces, weave bracelets and lanyards, rig ridgelines, or stash in your bug-out kit as general-purpose cordage.
- Available in Multiple Colors — Stocked in a range of tactical, hunting, and high-visibility colors so you can color-code your gear or match your loadout.

Strong cordSo I finally got my 550 paracord and lowkey it’s way better than the random “550lb” stuff I’ve bought before. It’s 100 feet and rated 550lb test, and you can tell it’s the real deal once you pull it out and see the structure. I like that it’s 7-strand with a nylon core and it feels smooth, not that plasticky crap. Also it’s made in the USA, which is a bonus for me.
Solid pickup 10/10 would buy again.
