<p>We've done a lot of hiking this summer, and while I hear about the abundance of ticks, I have not found a single tick. I spray this on my hiking shoes and the lower part of my legs/pants and it really does the job.</p>

<p>This said it would last for 12 hours and repel deer ticks. This product did not work at all. I had 5 ticks on me and when I arrived home had one attached under my arm. I was walking on deer trails where I knew there would be a great chance of getting a tick on me. I would not buy any product in the Ben's Tick line again. I do not like DEET, so I wanted to try this. I was not impressed and will not buy it again. Lime's disease is not a joke and I thought it would have worked better.</p>

<p>It goes on super slimy and stays that way, and has an extremely strong scent that persisted on my clothes through a wash cycle. It did manage to repel mosquitoes, but it was not in any way better than the DEET based products I've used in the past.</p>

<p>This seemed to work really well! The spray was easy to apply and we didn't get any ticks after working & playing in our meadow land. I gave it 4 stars because the scent, while pleasant enough, is so strong that it was all I could smell while I was working outside, and it stuck around after our clothes were washed, too. I'd really like this if they had an unscented version (which maybe they do? I need to look!).</p>

<p>After using cedarcide for years, we still had some tick issues. We were picking them off the dogs and us (though not at the rate we used to). Bens came and we were able to refrain from more toxic chemicals. We have a small homestead with very high grasses and so many deer. We've bought nearly every tick removal product on the market. This was a game changer. Put your tick key away, and invest in a great product!</p>
