Description
5.45x39 Slabside Magazine
This Arsenal magazine holds 30 rounds of 5.45x39mm, the smaller-bore cartridge used by AK-74 pattern rifles, and is made for shooters who run that platform. It is molded in black polymer with a slabside profile, meaning the side panels are flat. The curve matches the taper of the 5.45 case so rounds stack and feed in a smooth arc. It suits owners building a spare-magazine supply for range days, training or a loadout.
Features
- 30-Round Capacity — The magazine holds a standard 30-round load of 5.45x39mm ammunition.
- 5.45x39mm Chambering — It is built for the 5.45x39 cartridge, so it belongs with AK-74 pattern rifles rather than 7.62x39 guns.
- Slabside Body — Flat side panels give the magazine a clean, uniform profile that sits evenly in a pouch.
- Black Polymer Construction — The body is molded from polymer, which is lighter than an all-steel magazine and does not rust.
- Ribbed Rear Spine — A row of molded ribs runs down the back edge, giving your fingers a positive grip during reloads.
- AK-Style Locking Lug — A front lug hooks into the rifle's magazine well, and the rear catch locks it in place with the familiar rock-in motion.
- Removable Floorplate — The floorplate slides off the base so you can take out the spring and follower for cleaning.
- Molded Circle-10 Marking — A circle-10 mark is molded into the lower side panel.
Fit And Construction
The magazine follows the standard AK pattern: rock it in by catching the front lug in the magazine well, then pivot it back until the rear catch clicks. Because it is cut for 5.45x39, it is not interchangeable with 7.62x39 AK magazines, so check your rifle's chambering before ordering. The one-piece polymer body, separate floorplate and ribbed spine are visible in the photographs.

Gold standard for a reasonSurvived a muddy range day no jams, but the polymer holds dirt. The Circle 10 logo is a flex, but the price stings. Still, the best you can get for an AK-74.
Indestructible, iconic branding.
expensive.
