Bundesheer Training Pants

These are genuine tracksuit bottoms issued by the Austrian Army, the Bundesheer, for physical training and exercise. They were made for soldiers who run, stretch and work out in them every day, so the cut is plain and the fabric is soft. Today they work as lounge pants, gym bottoms or a base layer around camp, and they suit collectors of Austrian kit who want the PT side of the uniform as well as the field gear.

Austrian Army Issue

The Bundesheer issued these bottoms as part of its physical training kit, and they keep the original specification: a cotton-polyester blend, olive green finish, elastic waist and one zippered pocket. Issued PT wear is built to stand up to daily use by recruits, and it gives reenactors and collectors an authentic piece of Austrian service clothing in place of a lookalike.
