Beretta 21A Bobcat Covert 22LR Threaded Barrel

Bobcat Covert .22 LR

The Beretta 21A Bobcat Covert is a small .22 LR semi-automatic built on Beretta's long-running Bobcat frame, with a threaded barrel added. The threads accept a suppressor or other muzzle device where local law allows, and a knurled cap protects them when nothing is fitted. It suits shooters who want a compact rimfire for plinking, a quiet range session or a pocket-sized backup.

Features

• Threaded Barrel — The barrel extends past the slide with external threads, so you can mount a compatible suppressor or muzzle device.
• Knurled Thread Protector — A textured cap screws over the threads to keep them clean and undamaged when the muzzle is bare.
• Tip-Up Barrel Design — A release lever on the frame lets the barrel pivot up at the breech, so you can load or clear the chamber without racking the slide.
• .22 LR Chambering — Rimfire .22 Long Rifle ammunition is inexpensive, widely available and produces very little recoil.
• Exposed Hammer — A visible hammer at the rear of the slide shows at a glance whether the pistol is cocked.
• Checkered Wood Grips — Dark wood panels with checkering on the lower section and an inset Beretta logo give the small frame a secure hold.
• Matte Black Finish — The slide, frame and barrel share a non-reflective black finish that contrasts with the wood grips.
• Made In USA — The slide is marked Beretta U.S.A. Corp., Accokeek, MD, where this model is produced.

Build and Markings

The slide is roll-marked MOD. 21A .22 LR MADE IN USA, with the Beretta U.S.A. address beneath and rear cocking serrations behind. The trigger guard is rounded and the grip frame is short, which keeps the overall size suited to small hands and deep pockets. The Covert keeps the standard Bobcat layout, so owners of other 21A pistols will find the controls familiar.
