This is Beretta's own 13-round 9mm magazine for the compact versions of the 92 series pistol. It is an OEM part, meaning it comes from the same factory that builds the gun rather than from an aftermarket maker. Compact 92 owners use it as a spare for carry or a backup for range days, or to replace a worn original.

Features

• 13-Round Capacity — Holds 13 cartridges of 9mm Luger, also sold as 9x19mm, the standard 9mm pistol round.
• Beretta OEM Part — Made by Beretta under model number J80400 to the same pattern as the magazine supplied with the pistol.
• Steel Body — The tube is steel with a black finish and a pressed diamond-shaped rib on each side for added stiffness.
• Corrosion-Resistant Finish — The black coating protects the steel against rust from handling, sweat and damp conditions.
• Heat-Treated Spring — The steel spring is heat treated so it holds its tension through repeated loading and unloading.
• Polymer Follower — The follower, the plate that sits under the cartridges and pushes them up, is polymer for smooth travel inside the tube.
• Extended Finger-Rest Baseplate — A polymer baseplate with a forward lip gives your little finger somewhere to sit on the short compact grip.
• Lightweight — It weighs about 0.25 lb (113 g) empty, so a spare adds little to a belt or pocket.

Fit and Construction

This magazine fits the Beretta 92FS Type L Compact, 92FS Compact Inox, 92G Compact and 92SB Compact. It is sized for the shorter compact frame, so check your model before ordering, because full-size 92 pistols take a different magazine. The steel tube, heat-treated spring and polymer follower and baseplate follow Beretta's factory specification.
