The Rothco Vintage Washed Canvas Messenger Bag is a cross-body carry for books, a notebook, a compact camera and the small items you want close at hand. It measures 15" × 11" × 6" and keeps everything under one wide flap, with organizer pockets beneath it and on each side. The washed blue cotton canvas and brass hardware give it a broken-in look from the first day, so it suits a daily commute or campus as well as a weekend out.

• Heavyweight Washed Cotton Canvas — The thick cotton canvas is pre-washed, which softens the fabric and gives it a faded, worn-in finish.
• Full-Coverage Flap — A single flap covers the whole front and closes with a hook and loop strip, the fabric touch fastener often called Velcro, plus two tabs on the face.
• Two Front Organizer Pockets — Under the flap, two open-top pockets of about 9" × 9.5" hold pens, sunglasses or a phone, each with its own hook and loop tab.

Construction and Fit

The bag weighs 1.7 pounds empty, light enough to carry all day without the strap digging in. Its design follows the classic military canvas messenger, with pockets set where you can reach them without unloading the main compartment. It is made in China by Rothco and comes in this blue washed finish as well as brown, khaki, pink and woodland camo.
