Never!
Cold Weather Parka?
I ordered this expecting it to be WARM, and wind-resistant, but this 'parka' is a glorified SHIRT. It is paper-thin, suitable for wear on the HOTTEST of days when you just need some insect and sun protection! I have long respected the quality of Brit gear, but it completely baffles me that they issued this item for cold weather... It's a nice enough SHIRT in an awesome camo pattern, but I would never have spent more than $15 for it if I had understood how light it is...

NIB condition!
I have been looking for one of these for the collection in my size for some time now. The jacket I received was in brand new condition! The colors look better (less faded) then the one pictured above. Heavy duty zippers, lined hood. I plan on using this in cold weather with a German parka liner. Bring on the cold!

Vintage History
Ordered upon ad posting ,used my reward points, so cost was nil, mine came tailored by original owner, sleeves a little short, but good overall shape,& fade, funtional well made cotton ,add layers for additional warmth, works well on mild west coast nights , and the historical issue of these a must for collection. Years of use left ,
Field test next , thanks again!!

Excellent idem
Like I said, its a excellent Parka, but keep on mind that don't have a liner at all ( or its just my parka :) )l. The fabric its very thick comparative with the other parkas ( i have two more, Royal Marine Commando Falklands times and one for training ) , plenty of pockets and a map pocket too and its great to take in the bush or hunting in spring or fall too. The one like I got looks like its for the commando boys. You can attach a liner from USA jacket ( sometimes under $ 3 ) or a German military liner ( super quality ).
The cammo colors are not to bright and will blend good for PNW at least.
