The British Army ECW Outer Mittens are genuine surplus-issue Extreme Cold Weather shells designed to be worn over your existing gloves or liners. Constructed from waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex in DPM woodland camouflage, they seal out wind, rain, and snow while letting interior moisture escape. An extended gauntlet cuff with a shock-cord drawstring and a hook-and-loop wrist strap lock the fit down tight against the weather. Ideal for arctic operations, winter hunting, snowshoeing, ice fishing, and any cold-weather task where keeping your hands dry is non-negotiable.

Military gear that actually worksBought these for hunting season and they've been fantastic. The quality is obvious right out of the box and the shooting window lets you keep your gloves on while handling your weapon. No complaints so far.

Nice added layerFor the price you can't go wrong with this added layer. The ones I got are new, nice long gauntlet style that can go over a variety of gloves that I own. Will be glad I have them this wi ter on the extra cold days in MA.

Great product in ok conditionI plan to use these for cycling in the rain because they are lightweight and can be used in any weather condition. I held them under a faucet and they stayed completely waterproof. However, one of the mittens was slightly frayed in places which compromised their waterproof nature. They should still be very effective and blocking wind and rain but they did have small rips on the outer layer.

Really big and windproof.You have to use these as intended; over some smaller, warmer gloves or mittens. As mittens, they're almost useless but when used as directed, they really work. But you pretty much have to be standing around outside in the cold doing nothing all day to really appreciate them. If you need to use your hands with these things on, you're going to have a hard time.

Duck Hunters NoteThese are excellent, large over mitts that are perfect in a duck blind or layout boat. They shed water, keep the wind off, and are easily and quickly taken off when the ducks appear. You can wear gloves or mittens under them...I like fingerless convertible mittens...whatever lets you operate your shotgun efficiently. An excellent layering system for your hands.
