Using a simple sharpened carbon steel blade with polymer handle, this machete is capable of being swung and will easily cut down branches, brush, and shrubbery from your campsite. It works, but feels cheap.<span>Came out of box very dull, took hours the sharpen. The handle feels fragile and I expect it wont hold up to heavy use.<br><br>Over all though for the cost it's not bad, but I woild recommend at a minimum taping the handle to prevent it from breaking apart.</span>

Not for cutting thick brush or bush.<span>Tried it out against some thistle and the edge bent. It's not the best material but it should work for a few jobs before its garbage.</span>
