Concealed Carry MA-1 Jacket - Black

Great quality at a decent price

If you need to conceal, this might be a nice option. My brother has had one for a while and wanted me to get one, I just never felt the need until my other option of not getting cold was a black wool trench that didn't help. I like the jacket, it's well made. If I was going to go into business or travel I'd be buying one of those.

Durable material. Very good price for a nice reliable everyday carry. Comfortable and practical. I am buying a second. Love these jackets. You won't be sorry if you purchase this item.

Slight fit issue. .. ..arms were huge on a medium, then a L fit great in the waist...just wish the jacket overall was a bit more roomier for me (XXL is too big everywhere) , also I wanted it a tad more "Form fitting". So I suggest buy a size down and then try a size up in waist, they do run small

Well Made jacket!!

Fits great! Warmth is average. This jacket is a sleek urban "dress-down" look! No zippers, just a simple snap at the cuff and waist! The best part is the hidden compartment! I'm a fan. The jacket seems to be durable, no visible wear at all. A great choice if you're in to fashions or the urban grunge scene! Worth every penny. Plus...no pockets means you don't lose anything as easily! If only the world was filled with concealed weapons this could be worn everyday! (LOL) Enjoy it for all its goodness and you'll see! A very nice jacket. Would buy it again. Only a minor problem. Velcro on left breast pockets are on the same surface and I guess the manufacturer figured one was enough for the one side of jacket. It's OK to have the two separate openings on both the left and right side as well.

I am 6'2" and this is a good fit, the waist adjustment in the rear and a zipper under the arm make it a great fit and functional. A real useful & sturdy jacket for winter. Well worth the price. A little heavy for what I was wearing in temperatures in the low to mid 40's. but if there was a zipper or opening in the bottom to let out some air I would be happy. the Velcro strap is adequate. As a CCL carrier this is what I wanted to keep warm & protected in our colder winters & as an extra for protection for traveling to less safe places in the world as the inner shell is metal. For a lot less cost I would do this as a back up layer if needed for my inside-the-waist band Carry if things get cold enough. With my pistol out and exposed under my clothes or with a thin or thin jacket this works great. But again, if I were carrying a pistol on my hip for a while, I'd go for an inside-the-waist band Holster. the pull tabs for a pouch inside is also helpful for smaller items like a multi tool, flashlight etc. And finally. You get a Jacket. The stitching is good, it's the metalized, lined inner jacket as the product states and a great buy. Good Quality for price and Functionality.

Was really hoping to get a 2xl for comfort and movement, got a 3xl which I thought I could shrink, no luck the smalls wouldn't even come close! Material is awesome and is nice an sturdy. If your normally an extra large this might be a small medium for movement! I just couldn't get the small to move! All I needed was something a bit bigger and to keep the wind off for a job outside this time of year. Also didn't get my correct size the Amazon message saying it said your return is complete means you received it but there was no tracking of your shipment so the return is useless! The tracking was suppose to be there when the item was shipped but that wasn't even done yet when I received the item so useless! Oh ya jacket is awesome!!

Just got this. Very nice jacket...its made well. 36 to 40 sleeves so if your are short waisted, get a small. Lots of pockets. Well padded and very warm, if you use a light under-layer. Highly recommend!

I bought a Rothco flight jacket years ago that I wore for years. It finally wore out. This one is almost identical. I am very pleased. Fit and quality great. Arrived on time and in great condition.

Fit great. Felt a bit odd at first with the placement of the pockets and holster.

This jacket is very nice and fits great. It was a little snug in the shoulders and chest but fits great everywhere else. Would definitely recommend this product to others!!!!

Overall, good quality and size. BUT - There are 3 reasons for 4 stars instead of 5. The arm length and waist size were correct, but, they had overstitched the inside of the waist and now there is extra fabric on the inside. The right pocket flap Velcro seam came unsewn and had to be reattached. (Not big deal). The really big one is the back left pocket seam is unfinished - as if they had decided they didn't need a left back pocket after all. It looks really weird, but that's not the biggest deal. If I have to rip the seam to get the pocket flap to work I'm going to get some lint in my pockets and the seam needs redoing. All I want is a concealed carry jacket, not to have to re-stitch the jacket! It would be so easy to do the jacket the way it should be done. I know the world has lots of shortcuts and low quality manufacturing, but a $40 quality leather jacket is going to take the extra time and effort to do the job right, IMO. I was kind of bummed out about that, but not too much, so 4 stars. The thing is I have an original "maverick" style ALPS military Alpha Outdoor MA-1 Pilot Bomber Jacket from the mid 80's and it was $35 at the Army/Navy store, but I've never been able to find another. The old one is so soft, I'm afraid this one will not be the same. We'll see. As long as the seams are stitched right, it will be just fine. Thanks for reading. PEW. . PS If you use dryer and dry on high setting you can get rid of that strange smell pretty quick. That is a plus, and I would do it anyway, because it helps the fabric to relax a bit. It does seem to get the shiny polyurethane finish that a lot of these clothes have. I like them because they don't get oily and greasy like wool or wool blends. It is the way things are going to be made

Well I'm a bigger guy so i ordered an XXL and it fit a lil tight at the bottom but over all the length is good but it could be lined inside. Also my right sleeve pocket came unsewed after 2 wears so if i ever need to fix it I guess. Its a great jacket i will probably end up buying a second one but in XL

Jacket is good. I normally where a xl. This one fit more like a Large. Would have returned but I am using it as a fishing jacket.

I love the fit and comfort. Its great for cooler temperatures. I was able to conceal carry under the jacket, although it wasn't my intent. The only problem I had was with how I could secure my hat to the front portion of the jacket. Other than that, it's the most comfortable hoodie I've ever worn. Will probably buy another.

If you normally wear a size XL or LARGE, order a XXL because this jacket will cut into you, run very small, can't wear anything underneath so it will look silly

The arms are very very very very very very long for the torso length, if that makes sense. Other than that, it fits well and is a great value. It also has two concealed carry pouches inside the inner jacket. Good stuff.

Love this jacket, but my ONLY complaint, is that it is a little large. If you're over 6' tall and stocky, this will fit just a little big. If you're a lanky individual, or have a more proportionate body type, this jacket will fit just fine. Also if you don't mind the slightly baggy look, you'll love this. great jacket!! I was a little unsure of what to expect but once it arrived, my wife loves it. I can't say enough good things about this and I have already told several of my co workers where to get it from. Great job on the sizing, very accurate and just a nice overall quality. Will update in 6 mos to see how it has held up.
