Worth the priceThis is more like an overcoat than a poncho, it has sleeves and a huge goofy hood. Sorry, but it looks like a big green Klan hood. I'm 6' 195lbs and could not button it with a day pack on. It is new never issued. Has a seam down back wich is not taped so not so sure it's going to leak. It does close with armor on. If it doesn't leak I will update 5 star.

Great poncho for the priceVERY roomy, with a double layered hood/shoulder. I am 5-07 tall, and mine reached the ground. I'll have to cut off 6 - 8 inches or so and hem it, but this is a minor matter for the price.

Very large, very longAs others have said, this is large enough to easily fit a second person inside. That said, I am 5'-07" tall, and it comes right down to the top of my shoes. I won't get wet sitting down like with other ponchos, but will have to hem it up so as not to trip on it.

Good GearGreat poncho. It's large enough to cover you and any gear you're carrying. It could even be an emergency shelter in a storm; just sit on a stump or rock, tuck in your arms and chin, and let it rain !!! I may replace the buttons with snaps, but that's a personal preference. Works GREAT as is.

Better than what I was issued in the early 80's US ArmyThe material and format (arm slots) are great. The hood is large and encompasses the head completely. I got this for walking the dogs when the rains are coming down. Beats the US Military issued equipment I received. Better quality. Very large (military gear) to cover a jacket or what ever the weather calls for. Great price.
