Czech Army Poncho

VERY roomy, with a double layered hood/shoulder. I am 5-07 tall, and mine reached the ground. I'll have to cut off 6 - 8 inches or so and hem it, but this is a minor matter for the price.

Great poncho. It's large enough to cover you and any gear you're carrying. It could even be an emergency shelter in a storm; just sit on a stump or rock, tuck in your arms and chin, and let it rain !!! I may replace the buttons with snaps, but that's a personal preference. Works GREAT as is.

The material and format (arm slots) are great. The hood is large and encompasses the head completely. I got this for walking the dogs when the rains are coming down.
Beats the US Military issued equipment I received. Better quality. Very large (military gear) to cover a jacket or what ever the weather calls for.

My husband opened his poncho up expecting to be really happy with the product to find out that there was a couple buttons broken, there were no pieces in the pack that it came in so we are assuming it was packaged like that. The quality control needs some help. Other than that, he is happy with the product.

Another great piece of military surplus sold by Keep Shooting, covers the entire body and gear if you are in the field, has multiple uses.

Absolutely great buy, the 2 ponchos I ordered showed up surprisingly fast and look as good as or better than the picture, flawless unissued condition and they look pretty cool to boot. They're very heavy duty and feel like they'll last quite a while even with heavy use. Would buy again.

Definitely a heavy duty piece of kit, beats the pocket ponchos with ease. Ordered on a Friday, received Monday morning - Monday afternoon we enjoyed 1.25 inches of rain in about 3 hours. I was working out in it from start to finish - and breaking in my new poncho correctly. It's roomy enough to use over a full rucksack, or in my case over a tool belt and scba.
The only thing about it that I don't care for, are the buttons - actual buttons, not snaps. I will be rectifying this shortly with either velcro/gecko flex ormagnets.

This poncho is essentially on the same scale as the German military poncho which costs three times as much. It is large, solid, and comes with a convenient case for storage. I bought one, then another after seeing the quality. Have one in all vehicles now. Hardly take up any space and many uses.

If you really care about staying dry no matter how heavy the rain might be then you definitely need one of these. I bought 2 of them and I'm happy that I did. These ponchos are larger than expected, very well made not cheap stuff. It comes with a carrying pouch and take very little room making them very suitable for permanent carry on outdoor equipment. If some one drops a bucket with water while I wear one of these I really do not care; I know that I and my gear will stay dry...
