Awesome. I can’t stress enough that this is not your run of the mill junk you find in army navy stores. This is an actual surplus that comes from a former German Democratic Republic from way back in the day, when that region was part of the former Soviet block of countries. This was in an excellent, almost like new, condition and has been serviced to perfection. Everything is just perfect. This is a military grade product and a must buy if you want a warm jacket that is also very durable and tough and is going to last you for many, many years.

This is a heavy duty parka for a very low price and low overhead. Fit is slightly large, but it's still pretty roomy so it should fit almost anyone who normally takes the normal size. It is still nice enough for office attire. Very warm. It's not "Goretex", but who cares? You get so much for the cost it is silly.

It was brand new, had never been worn, washed or dry cleaned. Ready to wear out of the box. Love it. Best and warmest field jacket I've ever owned, It doesn't matter how windy or cold it is. I don't get cold. If you need to layer underneath, no problem. I can layer 2 shirts underneath and still be perfectly warm. I love the size. I'm a bigger guy and am 6'2", 240lbs and a big but in the shoulders. This jacket was huge on me, which is exactly what I wanted. You'll want a size or two larger. The jacket will have room to layer underneath and also to move in if you are doing any physical labor in it. It will keep you super warm and I can't say enough about it.
