Solid surplus cap does the jobThis thing surprised me. The fit is spot on for a size L, wore it all day hiking and it didnt slide around or feel weird on my head. The fabric is thick and feels like it could take some abuse, way more durable than the cheap stuff you find at walmart. Only thing id say is the color is a little more faded looking than it appeared in the photos but honestly it gives it that authentic worn-in look which i actually like.
