Warm wool tubeThe wool is thick enough for those windy dawns and I yanked it up over my nose on the trail and left it there all afternoon and even slept with it looped around my neck when the tent got drafty but it did start to itch a little after a few hours so I had to tug it down now and then..

Warm and Tough Surplus ScarfI wore this east german blue neck gaiter on a cold morning at the range and it kept my neck toasty the whole time even with wind blowing. The wool feels thick and real surplus quality. It did pill a little after a few washes but nothing bad. Does what its supposed to for the price.
