Fiocchi Range Dynamics 5.7x28mm Subsonic Ammo - 62 Grain FMJ

Quiet 5.7x28mm Range Ammo

Fiocchi Range Dynamics Subsonic is a 5.7x28mm load built for shooters who want their 5.7 to run quietly, especially behind a suppressor. Each round pairs a 62 grain full metal jacket bullet with a powder charge held below the speed of sound, which removes the sharp supersonic crack a standard 5.7 load makes. It comes in 50-round boxes and suits range sessions, suppressor owners, and anyone who wants a softer, quieter 5.7.

Features

• 5.7x28mm Caliber — Chambered for firearms marked 5.7x28mm, the small, bottlenecked cartridge used in 5.7 pistols, carbines and PDWs.
• Subsonic Velocity — A rated muzzle velocity of 1,050 feet per second keeps the bullet under the speed of sound, so it does not produce the supersonic crack in flight.
• Suppressor Friendly — Fiocchi designed this load for suppressed shooting, where staying subsonic matters most, and it can also be fired without a suppressor.
• 62 Grain Bullet — The heavier bullet carries more mass than typical lightweight 5.7 loads, which helps it work at subsonic speeds.
• Full Metal Jacket — FMJ, a copper jacket wrapped around a lead core, feeds smoothly and leaves less lead fouling in the bore.
• Reloadable Brass Cases — Brass cases with Boxer primers, which use a single central flash hole, can be decapped and reloaded by handloaders.
• Clean-Burning Powder — The propellant is formulated to burn clean and reduce residue in the action and suppressor.
• Loaded In The USA — The box is marked as loaded in the USA under the Fiocchi name.
• 50 Rounds Per Box — Packed 50 to a cardboard box under SKU 57SUB62.

Case and Loading

Every cartridge uses a brass case topped with a copper-jacketed 62 grain FMJ bullet and a Boxer primer, so the spent brass is worth keeping if you reload. Fiocchi's Range Dynamics line is meant for practice and recreational shooting, and this subsonic version is the one to reach for when noise is the concern. Target shooting is its main job, and Fiocchi also lists varmint use and personal defense among its applications.
