7-Inch Folding Saw
The Fiskars Folding Saw has a 7-inch stainless steel blade that folds back into its handle, so a saw can ride in a pack, glovebox or bug-out bag without a sheath. Use it to clear branches from a trail or campsite, cut firewood to length, or prune limbs that are too thick for loppers. It suits campers, hunters, hikers and gardeners who want more cutting power than a knife without carrying a full bow saw.

Build And Carry
The blade is held at the orange housing by a single pivot screw, and the slightly curved blade shape keeps the teeth working into the cut as you pull. Folded, the saw is roughly the length of the handle, small enough for a pack side pocket or a vehicle kit. It is a commercial Fiskars tool, not military surplus, and pairs well with a fixed-blade knife or hatchet in a camp or survival setup.

Cuts cleanly through woodThe saw performed well for clearing brush during a camping trip, and the locking system never slipped. It’s a reliable backup tool for any outdoor kit.

Not quite as great as I hoped.Not quite as great as I hoped. It’s good but didn’t get the ease and cut like I hoped but for the price and 4+ hour cut job (cut some crappy roots out of a shrub) I’m still happy with the tool and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others. But also don’t think it’s perfect as far as pruning/cutting anything with tough stems (small branches/trunks). But for things like the limbs on shrubs and trees, and pruning anything smaller than a telephone pole. You’ll love it

Great saw, wish it came with a better caseSaw works great, will cut most anything. The plastic case it comes in sucks. Would be nice if they made one that closed or snapped shut.
