Fox Labs One Point Four 16oz Pistol Grip Pepper Spray

16oz Pistol Grip OC Spray

The Fox Labs One Point Four in the 16oz pistol grip format is a large-capacity pepper spray, far bigger than a keychain canister. The trigger handle lets you aim it the way you would a pistol, and the can holds enough to keep spraying instead of running dry after a short burst. Fox Labs labels it a Law Enforcement Formula, and it suits anyone who wants serious volume on hand for home, vehicle or duty use.

Features

• 16oz Canister — The large can carries far more spray than pocket-sized units, so you can deliver longer or repeated bursts.
• Pistol Grip Handle — A textured polymer grip marked Ballistic wraps around the top of the can, so you hold it in a natural firing grip and point it the way you would a handgun.
• 5.3 Million SHU — The label rates the formula at 5.3 million Scoville Heat Units (SHU), the standard scale for measuring pepper heat.
• Oleoresin Capsicum Formula — The active ingredient is 4% oleoresin capsicum (OC), the concentrated oil extracted from hot peppers, which irritates the eyes, skin and respiratory tract.
• UV Marking Dye — Ultraviolet dye in the mix leaves a trace on anyone sprayed that shows up under UV light, which helps with identification later.
• Non-Flammable — The label lists the formula as non-flammable.
• Ring-Pull Safety — A metal ring on the actuator housing secures the trigger until you are ready to spray.
• Law Enforcement Formula — Fox Labs prints this designation on the can, marking it as the same formula it supplies for professional use.

Formula And Handling

The black aluminum-style can has a molded actuator head. The pistol grip sits behind and above it, so your hand stays clear of the nozzle. The printed label gives the OC content, heat rating and safety warnings, including the instruction to spray directly in the face of an attacker. Federal regulations prohibit carrying this product on your person or in carry-on bags on civil passenger aircraft. Check your state and local laws on pepper spray size and strength before you buy.
