Fox Labs Pistol Grip Crowd Control Pepper Spray

12 oz Pistol Grip Fogger

The Fox Labs Pistol Grip Crowd Control Pepper Spray is a large-format OC canister built for situations where one small keychain unit will not cover the threat. It discharges in a fog pattern, a wide airborne cloud rather than a narrow stream, so the spray fills an area instead of relying on a single precise hit. The 12 oz can and full-size pistol grip suit security staff, agencies and anyone who wants a home or vehicle unit that is easy to aim under stress.

Features

• Five Point Three Formula — The label lists 2% oleoresin capsicum (OC, the active pepper extract) rated at 5.3 million Scoville Heat Units, the scale used to measure pepper heat.
• Fog Spray Pattern — The spray leaves the nozzle as a broad cloud that spreads across the face and airway area of a target or group.
• 12 oz (355 ml) Canister — Net weight is printed on the can, giving far more spray time than a pocket-size unit.
• Ballistic Pistol Grip Handle — A curved, textured grip lets you hold and point the can like a handgun and press the trigger lever with your hand wrapped around it.
• Tethered Safety Pin — A pin on a short cord with a steel pull ring sits in the actuator, so the trigger is locked until you pull it free.
• Ultra Violet Marking Dye — UV dye in the formula leaves traces on anyone sprayed that show up under ultraviolet light.
• Non-Flammable Formula — The label marks the contents as non-flammable.
• Filled And Assembled In USA — The canister is filled and assembled in the United States, with a lot code and expiration date stamped on the shoulder.

Handling And Storage

The black aluminum-style canister carries a molded actuator head with a patented design (US Patent 9,216,853) and a white fog nozzle facing forward. Check the stamped expiration date and replace the unit once it passes. Fox Labs advises against exposing the can to heat above 120°F (49°C) or direct sunlight for long periods, and recommends SUDECON wipes for decontamination after contact. Federal regulations prohibit carrying it on your person or in carry-on bags aboard passenger aircraft, and you should check local laws on OC spray before you buy.
