Now available in America for the first time, these new French Combat Jackets represent the latest issued gear in the French Army. These combat jackets are perfect for hunters, hikers, outdoorsmen, and can even be used to make a fashion statement with camouflage. The CCE camouflage pattern is a close copy of USGI Woodland so it is both familiar and different at the same time.

I am a barrel chested US size XL. The European surplus clothing runs one size smaller. For US XL go up to XXL for European clothing. My French CCE Jacket F12 in Euro size XXL fit well like a baggy sportcoat with room for a thin sweater or wool shirt under. The drop of about 8 inch for shoulder to waist ratio. Excellent quality, stylish like the French and priced right.

Just received this piece of milspec clothing and am pleasantly surprised. The outer shell material feels a little bit thin, almost to the point of being considered anorak style but there is an insulated liner included that does a great job of keeping me warm on these windy 40F morning dog walks. This garment is sized large, a little on the long side and long enough for tall people.

I was not expecting the coat to be so plush, soft, and well-made! Great for a woman with an athletic build. 5’6, ~135lbs. Sleeves a bit long, otherwise fits well in shoulders and chest. I got the brown, and will probably get another color or two!

Quality item at a fraction of the price I was going to pay for a used one locally. My brother served with our military for 30 years, we miss you bro and we'll remember. I'm a small build guy and the 3x is plenty roomy for layering with flannel shirts or an extra sweater. The insides are in good shape and can be saved for other projects or patched and repaired by a good seamstress, otherwise I don't know if the seams will last very long without work. But it's just the field Jacket so maybe it's meant to last 10 years and not outlast the wearer? We'll just see, good item.

Love this thing, it was the heaviest jacket i ever had when I was in, and the cold wasn't an issue for me while I was stationed in CA. It was great for hiking and even backpacking in wet or cold weather (I have this old junk with me while doing 25 miles of off trail hiking during a snowstorm) but also worked great for keeping you nice and warm when you want to sit around in a firepit in your yard (with the fake liner inside) drinking beer and being gruntled.

I am in Alaska. This coat is incredible, with just a light wool sweater underneath, this coat has made many many cold days quite comfortable. The only downside to this is that the military was able to acquire such high quality gear at such a cheap price. I can only hope the trend reverses in favor of American soldiers and their gear.
