Tough and versatile pouch. This pouch is built like a tank and holds more than just grenades. Perfect for my hiking gear.

Nice Piece of KitI bought this thing to make some custom belt pouches for shotgun shells to use on an ALICE pistol belt. The original old USGI shot shell pouches are hard to find and kinda pricey, and the newer reproduction ones look cheaply made, so I bought one of these to custom stitch my own. I'm going to cut them into 3 separate pouches, use to extra belt loop fabric on top to make loops on the backs for metal ALICE clips, then sew some elastic bands on the inside walls to hold 2X rows of six 12 gauge shells. The pouch I received was in very good shape, though it does have a small amount of crusty green verdigris on the brass snap fasteners. This should clean up with a little baking soda and a toothbrush though.

A great piece of gearI got two just to be sure I have enough. I don't took them yet in the field, but I am happy with the look, quality and design. Most likely one will be a first aid pouch that will be permanent with my Alpine Italian rucksack. If you like the old vintage look and style equipment and something build for life. Then go ahead and buy this product, you will not feel sorry :)
