Rimfire Suppressor

The Gemtech GM-22 is a compact suppressor for .22 LR, .17 HMR and .22 WMR rifles and pistols. It is 5 inches long and weighs 2.5 ounces, so it adds little to a Ruger 22/45 or a small rimfire rifle. The core comes out of the tube as one piece, which makes cleaning much easier on a caliber known for fouling a can quickly. It suits plinkers, small-game hunters and anyone who shoots a lot of rimfire and wants a quieter range session.

Build And Mounting

The GM-22 has two main parts: a plain outer tube laser-marked GEMTECH BOISE, ID, GM-22 .22LR, and the G-Core, an open-sided monocore with angled baffles and the threaded mount machined into its base. Both are 7075-T6 aluminum, and Gemtech applies its C3 finish to the core. It mounts directly to any 1/2x28 threaded barrel.
